Walking through the snow in a winter wonderland

For those of us with sensitive skin, wearing a scarf over the face is uncomfortable because the freezing moisture of the breath caught in the scarf rubs the skin, causing chaffing on the nose and chin… to say nothing of fogging up our glasses. I finally found a solution to that problem this week! I applied my Face to Grace lip balm on the nose and chin and went for a walk with the scarf well tucked in my coat. Although quite shiny for about 10 minutes, my skin absorbed it all and felt well protected, even an hour later on the walk back.

Come to think of it, if the winter wind and sun makes your eyes water, add lip balm around the lower part of your eyes and higher part of the cheeks. Not only will it protect you from the cold but will also likely delay the onset of wrinkles or prevent their deepening.
So next time your plan on making a snowman with the little ones, skating on the canal or skiing the whole day, bring your lip balm along. You’ll find it works its magic not only for the lips but also for the other sensitive parts of your face.
Yours in beauty and grace,
Samyukta Blanchet
