MEDITATION TO CULTIVATE STILLNESS

Consider all the parts of you that want movement when you sit for meditation. While the body dislikes  sitting in repose, the ego has better and more practical activities to do and the mind traps you with it’s memories, souvenirs and rules,  you are in the middle  trying to have a quality moment for yourself.
This meditation uses breath and affection as a way to educate the habit of unnecessary movements.
How to do it:
1.- Sit comfortably with the spine strait.
2.- Focus your attention in your face and smile at yourself with tender affection. 1 minute
3.- Inhale deeply trough your nose and retain the breath for 6 seconds.
4.- Exhale through your nose and retain the breath out for 6 seconds. Inhale again.
5.- Continue this rhythm for 7 minutes.
6.- Relax and repose within yourself. Do nothing as long as you want. Do it everyday in the morning for 40 days.
